First appearing in the novel, “Cocaine Blues”, (1989), written by author Kerry Greenwood, DI Jack Robinson has appeared in every novel in the “Phryne Fisher” detective series, which consists of 20 novels to date. While happily married in the books, DI Jack Robinson’s character was reinvented as a love interest for Miss Fisher in the highly successful television show titled, “Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries”.
