FEATURED DETECTIVE: Missus Nora Charles. Created by author Dashiell Hammett for his detective novel, “The Thin Man”, (1934), Nora Charles, along with her retired detective husband, Nick, stared in 6 hit films (1934-1947), were featured on their own radio program, (1941-1950), and eventually ended up on television in the mid-late 1950s for a total run of 72 episodes.
CHARACTER STUDY: Screwball, sarcastic, thrill-seeking San Francisco mining heiress, Nora Charles, is hard-drinking, flirty, sharp-tongued, and as unconventional as she is beautiful.
